Available at LED Controls the Mersen Type 2 surge protector K2-4P440-M has 4 pole and operates at 230/400V. The maximum continuous operating voltage is at 440V with a nominal discharge current of 20kA. The peak current can be withstood 20 times before the unit reaches end of life. These cartridges are replaceable.

This surge arrestor is din rail mountable and the live, neutral and earth contacts are clearly marked. A small phillips screwdriver is used to tighten or loosen the contacts.

Surge protection devices divert excess current to earth which prevents damage to electrical wiring and electrical shock in an over voltage event. These are also known as SPDs.This surge protector has remote indication.
